LIST OF ISSUES
Education
Mike believes schools should focus on the fundamentals: reading, writing, math, and history. He opposes Critical Race Theory and sexually explicit material in classrooms, supports protecting girls’ sports and girls’ safe spaces, and believes parents have a right to know what their children are being taught. Mike also supports school choice, accountability for student outcomes, and funding that follows the student.
Election Integrity
Mike has already taken action to strengthen election integrity by supporting efforts to clean up and maintain Michigan’s Qualified Voter File. He supports common-sense election laws like voter ID, accurate voter rolls, secure ballot handling, and safeguards that help ensure every legal vote is counted fairly and accurately.

Pro Second Amendment, no exceptions
Mike is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. He believes in constitutional carry, which allows law-abiding citizens to carry firearms without a permit, and he opposes any attempts to restrict gun ownership, including "red flag" laws, magazine restrictions, and "assault weapon" bans. Mike also believes that basic firearm safety should be taught in schools.
Local Government
Mike believes that local governments should have the resources they need to maintain critical infrastructure, such as emergency response and disaster mitigation systems. He also supports helping communities protect their natural resources and ensuring that local governments are accountable to their citizens.
Pro-Life
Mike is pro-life, believing that the founding principles of our republic call for the legal protection of the innocent, the helpless, and the weak. Unborn children are all of these things and deserve our love and protection, just like any other child.
Back the Blue
Mike proudly stands with local law enforcement, border patrol agents, and ICE officers who put their lives on the line to keep our communities safe. He will continue fighting to ensure law enforcement has the support, resources, and respect they deserve so they can do their jobs and protect Michigan families.
Standing Up for Farmers & Small Business
Mike knows small businesses and family farms are the backbone of our economy. After years of rising costs, inflation, and government overreach, many are still struggling to recover. Mike will continue fighting to cut burdensome regulations, lower costs, and get government out of the way so small businesses and rural communities can grow, hire, and thrive.
