I will always legislate with constitutional restraint, and I will reign in the bureaucracies and abuses of power we see out of Lansing and Washington D.C. Enough is enough."
LIST OF ISSUES
Education
Mike believes that K-12 education should focus on the fundamentals of reading, writing, arithmetic, and history. Critical Race Theory and sexually explicit material have no place in schools. Mike believes that parents have the right to know what their children are learning and that schools should be held accountable for student outcomes. He also supports school choice and funding that follows the student to ensure that every child has access to a quality education.
Pro Second Amendment, no exceptions
Mike is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment and the right to bear arms. He believes in constitutional carry, which allows law-abiding citizens to carry firearms without a permit, and he opposes any attempts to restrict gun ownership, including "red flag" laws, magazine restrictions, and "assault weapon" bans. Mike also believes that basic firearm safety should be taught in schools.
Election Integrity
Mike will fight for common-sense voter integrity laws that require voter ID, prohibit mass mailings of unsolicited ballots, and require local election officials to verify voter status before mailing ballots outside the voting district. He will also work to ensure that ballots are counted only by methods or machines that are resistant to tampering, and that voter rolls are regularly reviewed, updated, and corrected. Michiganders deserve and need confidence in the voting process.

Local Government
Mike believes that local governments should have the resources they need to maintain critical infrastructure, such as emergency response and disaster mitigation systems. He also supports helping communities protect their natural resources and ensuring that local governments are accountable to their citizens.
Pro-Life
Mike is pro-life, believing that the founding principles of our republic call for the legal protection of the innocent, the helpless, and the weak. Unborn children are all of these things and deserve our love and protection, just like any other child.
Back the Blue
Our men and women in uniform face unprecedented attacks from the radical left and their allies in office. This must change. I'll continue to work alongside law enforcement officials to ensure our men and women in uniform have the resources and support they need to keep our communities safe. We owe it to them.
Standing Up for Farmers & Small Business
Mike knows that small businesses and family farms are the backbone of our economy. Many are still recovering from Whitmer's disastrous pandemic policies. Now, they're contending with runaway inflation and soaring oil prices under Biden-Whitmer. As State Representative, Mike will get government out of the way to help our small-business and rural communities finally recover, and strengthen. Mike will support eliminating burdensome regulations so small-businesses can do what they do best: provide good paying jobs to our communities.
