First Term Accomplishments
A MESSAGE FROM MIKE
Last time I asked for your vote, I vowed to champion our rural community values and fight for our families. I promised to be accessible and accountable to you. From day one, I've kept my word.
I've attended over 100 in-district gatherings and events, including presentations, office hours, business tours, charity functions, parades, and ceremonies. I'll keep doing so.
My mission is and always will be to stand with our families and ensure that our rural community voices and values are heard in Lansing.
In addition, I have introduced the following legislation:
HB 4175: Removes "Gun Free" Zones for concealed pistol license holders
HB 4563: Allows for Remote Hearings for Tax Tribunals
HB 4714: Amends the penal code for carrying a firearm, part of a bill package to implement "Constitutional Carry" in the State of Michigan
HB 5071: Prohibits economic incentives from the State to Foreign Countries, like China
HB 5079: Provides for emergency medical transport and treatment for retired police canines
HB 5080: Eliminates certificate of need requirement for air ambulance
In addition to co-sponsoring dozens of bills to protect gun rights, religious rights, lessen the impact of inflation, and secure our elections, I have opposed numerous Democrat-led bills that limit gun rights, worsen inflation, and force taxpayers to pay for abortions.
I have and always will stand by our conservative values, without exception or remorse.
